Need to cool off? Just dew it!
Our Friend Emmanuel sent these photos last summer and I felt refreshed when I looked at them. It sure is hot and dry for weekend wedding celebrations.
My advise to Brides and Attendants...keep your flowers out of the sun. Especially if you purchased hand-tied bouquets.

Hot Dog - Beach Travels
Every once in awhile I post something that has nothing to do with flowers. Who could resist this little
frou-frou dog. And the puppy seems to enjoy the outing. However, if one's posterior is robust, perhaps a leash would be safer.

Red Hot July Wedding
Thanks go out to Pat for sending Kim some photos from last weekend. Latin Lady and Black Bacarra roses made a sizzling combo for a July Bride. The maids carried hand tied bouquets of Latin Lady roses to compliment the Bride. Please note how the sleek hair style and pretty details on the Bridal gown create a Mediterranean feel.

Into the Forest
Are you going camping this weekend?
You never know what you'll find in the woods. Perhaps flowers you have overlooked before. Maybe something rare or exotic. Are you kidding me! What an imagination. Ya gotta love all the different things you can do with flowers!
And, actually, the bouquet is very organic and beautifully designed.
Anyway, Happy Fourth of July

June Brides and Maids
This was a popular weekend for matrimony. The Design room was a flurry - flowers everywhere! But Marty and I found a minute to snap a few photos. However, the pouring rain conflicted with the Friday evening wedding delivery schedule so only the Saturday bouquets are posted. We hope the sun returns to Thorton Park and the Mills Rose Garden. Fingers crossed!

Swimming in Pink
Pink ranuculas simply arranged in a humble vase.
I'm in a pink mood. Early summer inspires me to crave all things pink. On my morning garden walk I discovered that my Pink Empress peonies were in bloom. I couldn't resist sticking my nose in the puffy pink blossom. Ymmmmm Heavenly. I wanted to pick some. But it was late and the Shop had a cooler full of prom corsages and weddings waiting. Florists are always busy in early June.
